The World's Only Immortal Animal

"The turritopsis nutricula species of jellyfish may have discovered the fountain of youth... it is capable of going from adult state to an immature polyp stage and back again...there may be no natural limit to it’s lifespan...it is the only known animal that can repeatedly turn back the hands of time and revert to its polyp state (its first stage of life)."
We really could get connected to something like this. It opens up a sceintific channel through which concrete research and data can be conducted and compiled about immortality.
In truth there are so many species that we haven’t discovered in the oceans - there might be others that show us different types of processes. Just like we have a life expectancy that increases over time, this shows us that if we make the right choices we could be on the path to immoratility.
