According to bestselling author, Kabbalah teacher, and GQ Better Man Honoree Yehuda Berg, we have reached a turning point in history, and now is the time for us to take responsibility for the condition of our world. Our short-term thinking and lack of awareness of personal power is wreaking havoc on our planet’s environment, and our economy.
In Yehuda’s latest book, THE POWER TO CHANGE EVERYTHING, he advocates that everything in our life, our world, is created by our consciousness, even if we aren’t always aware of the bigger picture. Yehuda challenges us to take the leap towards self-empowerment which will ultimately make for a genuinely fulfilling life. Drawing from the context of current events, personal experience, and old parables, in a controversial brew he makes the case that we ourselves created the suffering that exists in this world. Rather than expecting our leaders to create change, it’s up to each one of us.
THE POWER TO CHANGE EVERYTHING was launched via a social media campaign in November of 2009 to ignite a global forum on change. Yehuda says, “More than ever we’re primed to create change. Today, with the click of one button and viral communication, we can instantly impact another's life, and possibly even the world.”
THE POWER TO CHANGE EVERYTHING is also meant to stimulate networking among people interested in the broad topic of change. Innovative ideas for a better world are also being complied and made available through blogs, the Yehuda Berg Facebook Fan Page and yehudaberg.com. On one posting, a Muslim man of Lebanese descent is renovating the largest synagogue in his country after saying “Kabbalah gave him a more practical interpretation of his faith.”
In ways like this, THE POWER TO CHANGE EVERYTHING is fostering a global dialogue, developing new ideas and inspiring people to increase awareness of the power of their decisions. The ultimate goal is to encourage people to take responsibility for creating the world we want.
Kabbalah Publishing Partners With Eco-Libris’ Readers Take Action Program
More than 30 million trees are cut down annually for virgin paper used for the production of books sold in the U.S. alone. Eco-Libris aims to raise awareness to the environmental impacts of using paper for the production of books and provide people and businesses with an affordable and easy way to do something about it: plant one tree for every book they read, publish or sell.
Kabbalah Publishing invites its readers to take action and balance out this and future book purchases with Eco-Libris on their website - www.ecolibris.net/yehudaberg.asp. For every book you balance out, you will receive a sticker made of recycled paper saying “One tree planted for their book,” which you can display on your book. For every five trees planted on your behalf, one more tree will be planted on behalf of Kabbalah Publishing as an appreciation of their commitment to the environment.
Founded in 2007, Eco-Libris (www.ecolibris.net <http://www.ecolibris.net/> ) is a green company that works with book readers, publishers, authors, bookstores and others in the book industry to make reading more sustainable.
