The impact crater left behind when LeBron James dropped LeBomb on Cleveland is a prime example of the immense amount of influence one person can wield.  This one man’s decision to switch zip codes makes a tremendous impact on the citizens of two entire cities and regions.  That’s a whole lot of responsibility.  I respect LeBron James and admire his gifts and talent.  No one can argue with his draw and appeal.  He’s a consummate athlete who plays with heart and passion and he’s fun to watch.

We All Have Oil On Our Hands

At first I resisted commenting on the oil spill in the Gulf.  What more could I add to what has already been said. But then I realized that as disturbing as it is, this disaster provides us with an opportunity for something good, perhaps even a turning point that invokes sustainable change in our lives and for the environment.
